The fact the government can lose a vote 299-0 because they all abstained on pausing the roll out of universal credit but ineffect it means nothing.
Contempt of people, but I've come to expect that.
I wrote to Dominic Raab, my MP. asking him to support the assisted dying bill.
He replied saying it was a vote of conscience and he would be voting against.
I asked him to listen to the debate with an open mind, otherwise what was the point of the debate.
No reply.
I subsequently discovered he hadn't event turned up to represent me in this life and death decision, no he was too busy having lunch in a neighbouring constituency.
Not even doing something for the people he represents, let alone anything important.
