The removal of hats, hoodies etc is for security reasons. It's hard enough to ID the chavs. It's the timing of these burkinis that I'm curious about. They want to rock the boat, then be prepared for the consequences. We all know the French won't back down.

I try to avoid twat-friendly pubs, was yours full of chavvy manc wide boys? It irks me because I look fairly ordinary and am clearly not going to cause any bother, particularly if I've got my children with me, so I just think fuck you I'll go somewhere else. Nobody seems to have any discretion these days. Do you think they're making a political statement then, and if so who is behind it? As for les capituler singes not backing down, I don't think they've got a clue what the fuck to do tbh, but what they are doing is helping nobody.

i don't see it as curious, france has been fighting Bhurkas for years. What i do find odd is that they have decided these are out of order when they aren't covering the face.

France has been shot up, blown up and had some cunt in a truck plough through them. They're understandably a little tetchy at the moment but this is certainly not going to help.

of course, i understand all that, although their burka issues predate all of these incidents.
*and as i said, i can certainly understand some of the reasoning behind their concerns, sespcially in the light of one of our terror suspects slipping his tag and legging it in a burkha from a mosque (go team UK, lol). But you are right, this doesn't exaclty show calm reasoning.
Mind you, the french are rarely calm or reasonable, especially when it comes to anything involving law and order.

No, we had a great collection of customers. Pensioners in the lounge mainly during the day, truck drivers, the construction / demolition workers in the vault, quiz, dart & pool nights. We let the gypsies in for a few events (communion etc) but ended up barring all except one couple & the old father. Too much hassle-not worth the stress.
I can understand why the French are on high alert. I still question the timing of this. Also, where are the husbands of these burkini women?
Any photos I've seen, it's just the mother & the kids.

Do you question the timing of the women wearing veils too before they were banned? Move on now.
