I intend to live my whole life without ever hearing a hardcore remix of a Taylor Swift song.

I am one with the force. The force is with me.

Do Happy Hardcore people go for Commercial songs at bootlegs?
I suppose it is a slightly cheesier sound.

Yeah! Hardcore is built on commercial remixes where the song is re-sung. 80s tracks re-sung with different words was part of the boom during the old Happy Hardcore days. It's not that often the original vocal is used though, for financial reasons. There's no money to be made from it!

There's no money to be made in music unless you're a big name.

There can be.
It doesn't happen often as most labels appreciate these things are pretty small and at best go out to a few thousand people. Some though will send some very nasty and stern emails requesting they be removed immediately and not shared again.

I'm lucky to have a couple that got pulled so am one of few people to have them.

Also. I remember having a Drum & Bass remix of 'Ready Or Not' by the Fugees. I bought it, even though it was an illegal bootleg. That was back in the day when vinyl was booming though. The label on the record gave you no way of knowing who made the record. So the money was going to hidden pockets. I think DJ Hype did the remix though.

Different era. You used to be able to get white labels that had four tracks that were tricky to get hold of.
It was how I got my first copy of Yeke Yeke.
