I've got a pair of black leather Timberland boots that I've had about 4 years.
I've probably only worn them about a dozen times in that time.

My work shoes are around 12-years-old.

I wore them for 6 months in high school then boxed them for maybe 10 years. When my newer shoes died I reverted back to them as I hate wasting money on stuff for work. They're really comfy and I don't care what they look like as nobody I care about will ever see me in them!

fashionable shoes come around again and again so it's worth keeping form styles. Platforms are coming back at the moment
