See, I'm looking at those tickets on the top of those seats which indicate reserved, and that other carriage looks like first class. I'm somewhat on the fence at the moment because the Guardian's reporting of late has been f*****g shoddy.
Ok, having read the whole thing now - there weren't seats available in standard and they had to upgrade people to 1st class to get him a seat. Someone else was also put in a reserved seat that was unoccupied by virgin staff.
So basically, this is a daily mail type of bullshit article and Branson should apologise.
Turns out there's a lot more to this than met the eye last year.
