To begin with I just want a web presence with a view to making it transactional at some point. I need to know whether there is a one stop shop to get my own domain name registered which can also provide a hefty amount of storage at a reasonable price. Preferably one that is secure and has modular capability (i.e. you can add things like shopping basket and the like, as and when required). I'm thinking of using Wordpress also so I need to know if this can be used on many of the web hosting sites. I guess essentially I need advice from start to finish on the whole process, bearing in mind I'm on a very limited budget, but hopefully this will be scalable Thanks in advance. Hosting wise, I've used Nativespace (http://www.nativespace.com/cart/web-hosting/) for years. They're cheap (starting at £2.99 pcm) and I've never had any problem but I've never needed vast amounts of storage either so I'm not sure if their packages would suit your needs. You can order your domain through them, in fact if you're going to use them then I *suggest you do* order your domain through them as it just makes all the setting up easy. Hope this helps. Edit: They also have installers for the major CMS's (Wordpress/Joomla etc) so setting up is a doddle. Suffering from a small case of mood poisoning, must be something I hate.
