I suppose the parents of these bastards were even worse. plenty of caning and a few expulsions but yeah, looking back they were probably abused as children and just passed it on, this was the era investigated by operation pallial and operation yewtree after all, there was involvement, collusion or at least a blind eye turned by the police and other authorities to abuse. the 70's was a different time to now one teacher was notorious for hanging out with teenage girls with large breasts, it was 'just his way', being a boy I didn't have breasts so fell under his radar and fortunately I didn't like the scouts as the local scoutmaster turned out to be a raging peado no dinner for two years and a weekly beating I reckon I got it easy when the chimes end, pick up your gun. try and shoot me, colonel. just try. I had a mate who got beaten up because he wore white laces. The red laces crew didn't like that. You could get beaten up for what you wore, what music you liked, what school you went to, which town you lived in. I actually didn't get beaten up because of the road I lived in due to my mates elder brothers crew who had quite a rep.
