This giant converted church is a community centre by day, but by night becomes a huge two storey club which lets itself out to various promoters, usually for underground house or full-on techno nights. Downstairs is where the sweat flies on the very hot, low ceiling dancefloor area. You get to see the un-edifying sight of moisture running down the walls. Luckily (for them) this is where the bar is, so you can cool off straight away with a cold can of Red Stripe. Upstairs is the big chill-out area with school classroom (or community centre) style tables and chairs, stone walls and a ceiling nearly as high as the punters.
Capacity: 500 (ish)
Sound system: Good clear 2OK in house rig
Lighting: Good in house lights, but depends on how lights are utilised by promoter
