This mix was primarily made to appeal to all styles of hardcore and freeform and quickly ended up representing the stunning days and glowing nights of the ascent to Uhuru Peak. Walking for 6-8 hours every day, passing loads of different landscapes and slowly getting higher and higher up the volcano and closer to the sky, it got harder and harder and when i reached the top the feeling rushing through my body was next to no other, words cannot describe it! This mix got its name because of that seriously hardcore and amazing walk (or clamber) Wink It represents the hard times and the good times and parallels a set that takes you high, takes you hard and takes you far beyond the limits. Uhuru Peak has many ups and downs and many euphoric moments, as well as tougher moments. -- Massive respect to all the producers who are slaving away and churning out beauties such as these.

amazing photo greg. that must have been a damn hard trek, at that height you must have been going so slow as you reached the top!!! well done!

re: hardcore.. PVC by orpheus is a massive track but a bit of a strange choice for an opening track in a mix imo

re. PVC - I thought it would fit nicely at the beginning from the break due to the nature of the mix and from the soft mellowness it initially entails
