A massive thankyou to HarderFaster along with each and every one who donated to the 414 legal fund, we are grateful for the ongoing support. We have been humbled by the stories of how the 414 has played a positive role in people’s lives and the love that is felt towards the venue, once again we thank you.

How are matters going…let us give you an update!
Although we won the case at the Royal Courts of Justice to have the planning consent ‘Quashed’ it did not prevent the freeholders from re-presenting the application for ‘Change of Use’ again to Lambeth Planning, this they have done, but this time a lot more has to be adhered too.

Firstly if Lambeth have a mind to grant permission, it will be put before a planning committee to assess the merits of the application taking into consideration planning policies set out in law which we believe there are a few which could protect us.

Once we have conformation for the date the application will be brought before committee we will post it up so all those who wish to attend may do so. As life can never be guaranteed to go the way you wish, we may still have a battle to fight.

Night clubs are a legitimate business and employer, and It’s reassuring the Mayor of London see this too…..We have been in contact with the new ‘Night Czar’ Amy Lamé who will write a letter of support for Club 414 to Lambeth.

We are very much part of London’s tourist trade, so let’s hope Lambeth Planning Committee will back Club 414 and reject the change of use and keep us rocking.
Thank you all once again much love and gratitude from all of us at the 414.

Thumbs up

Fingers crossed that the powers that be see sense. Too many great venues have gone by the wayside and I'd hate to see the 414 go too. Have had some of the best nights/mornings there.
