Nu Religion Presents The Valentines Ball
@ MASS NIGHTCLUB | ST. MATTHEWS CHURCH | BRIXTON HILL | LONDON | SW2 1JF
Saturday 9th February 2008
9PM TILL 6AM

Cupid is about to launch one super sharp arrow down on Brixton, on Saturday the 9th February, as those preachers, Nu-Religion, one of the countries fastest growing brands present The Valentines Day Ball, which will see their strongest DJ line up ever!

When you guide your special someone down the slippery slope to St. Mathew’s church, you’ll come to London’s most unpretentious venue: the Mass nightclub. Take a walk up the winding staircase and into the famous pulpit in the main room and Nu-Religion will be spreading some Hard Dance love.

The Organ Doners will be mending a few broken hearts with their Live Audio Surgery show. Things get really Extreme when the countries leading live act, the Nu-Energy collective deliver the sounds. The ‘Queen of Hard Dance, Lisa Pin-Up will be giving it all her heart, as will the other original Tidy girl, Anne Savage. Those Welsh wizards, Cally and Juice get the place seriously rocking, aided and abetted by MC Shocker. The ledged that is Phil Reynolds will be getting down to business, and who better to have closing the main room proceedings than last set specialist Rob Tissera!

But you want one more? Well here’s some ‘old skool for you! In arena two, it’s all about the classic anthems with the DJ’s playing the old favourites from the brands that they are most synonymous with. You’ll get another chance to see Lisa Pin-Up (Tidy), Andy Farley (Vicious Circle), Phil Reynolds (Frantic) and Cally and Juice (Bionic) as they all serve up the nostalgia. Plus in arena three, they’ll be a serious Battle of the Brands going down with Contact, Project Storm and Frenzy. All this within the truly underground setting that makes the Mass nightclub so unique.

So make sure that you spend your St. Valentines celebrations dancing the whole nine hours to the amazing sound system, whilst underneath the fantastic lighting display at Nu-Religion Presents the Valentines Day Ball!

Just heard that the classics room will not be open, how f*cking out of order is that? One of the main reasons I and a load of my friends are going is because there were supposed to be 3 rooms and there are certain people in the main room I would rather not be forced to listen to.

I think it is well out of order to advertise something and then not follow through with it. Unfortunately there is probably no chance of getting a refund! Why the f*ck do promoters do this? Do they not think that people will think they are a bunch of c*nts for not opening the room?

Now it means that the two rooms will be packed and horrible, thanks nu-religion!

bastards!!

Have you heard or been told for definate or is it just hear say & also sometimes things are out of peoples control & maybe they had every intention of hosting 3 rooms but for whatever reason now they can't...

I am sure they are equally pissed off, if it is the case. Suspicious

I was told for definite.

If it is out of their control, why not tell people straight away?

What reason would there be to advertise something they couldn't do? Makes you question why they advertised the room if they haven't bothered to say why they aren't running the room now.

If there is a good reason, then I would like to hear it, if there is not a good reason, then why bother advertising the event in this way?
