Indeed it was a wicked night.

Jurrane played an amazing warm-up. Nice and groovy, well paced and stepped it up perfectly near the end. Definately a dj to watch out for next year. Wink

Enjoyed K90 live and thought the b2b with Phil was good. Plenty of tech trance in there which set it up nicely for me. Trevor played an awesome closing set to finish off one of the best nights musically I have been to for a while. Plenty of variety of trance accross the night which kept people dancing till the end, and a wicked crowd which created a wicked and friendly atmosphere.

The back room was rocking all night, especially when Tony Montana was on the 1210's. Fantastic......... Laughs out loud

Well done Hannah & the Twisted crew and look forward to what Twisted has instore next year. Wink

Yeah, that Wink

It was an excellent night. Hadn't been to Twisted since the summer when I remember one night where I think every dj played UK hard trance and it all just merged into one.

It was nice to see Jurrane playing the warm up as it should be done. The goal of any warm up dj is to get the feet tapping, gradually ease people onto the dancefloor and get the place buzzing at the end of their set ready for the next dj. Jurrane got it just right. Especially liked Cultivate - Broken Pieces, the tune which noticeably increased the presence on the dancefloor.

I thought Karl was excellent as well, with a large proportion of techno in there I didn't think I was going to enjoy it but apart from maybe 30 mins in the middle I was really getting into it. I'd like to know what the first two records were - the second a wicked trancer and the first some weird techno record that makes it sound like the dj's ejected the cd or something, very brave playing that as a first record Laughs out loud - it fooled me even though you told me last week you were going to play it! Also nice to hear Plastic Boy - Silver Bath towards the end, hadn't heard that for a long time.

K90 was good as always and I thought Phil Reynolds and K90 worked well together once they got going, that Synaesthesia remix was quality, not a fan of that track but that was good. Also remember going slightly mental when The Message was played Hyper! Was a bit knackered by the time Trevor came on so ended up leaving early, destination bed.

All in all a good night, I always keep an eye out for Twisted line-ups without ever being a regular, this was definitely one of the better ones!

"...would much rather watch a DJ play records than wear one to a posh restaurant..."

The first track was Igor S, Apache. Damo thought it was psy-trance. I'd probably describe it as fucked up energetic tech trance. The second was Genix, Red Vision. Glad you liked Plastic Boy, Silver Bath as well. An unobvious classic (imo). Smile

Up & Coming Gigs for this year..........
Pink (9th Dec), Spangulation (23rd Dec)
One's 2nd Birthday @ Extreme Euphoria (26th Dec) 6 hrs of classic trance
One - Free NYE Party @ The Southside Bar. Check the What's On for more info
