Thought some of you might be interested in what hard dance gets played in the convict country!!

I've been fortunate enough to have one of my recent mixes hosted by Australia's #1 dance music site, www.inthemix.com.au

ITM-FM streaming --> http://www.inthemix.com.au/broadband/fm/28932/Tristan_Cameron_2am_Heavin_mix

Alternatively, if you don't wish to stream it, you can download the same mix by clicking here -->
http://www.sendspace.com/file/3sy91t (74mb)

Tracklisting
INTRO
SANDER VAN DOORN – DARK ROAST (RE-FILL 2006 MIX)
SEAN TYAS – LIFT
BBE – 7 DAYS & 1 WEEK (MARK SHERRY’S OUTBURST 2006 MIX)
BK – SYSTEMATIC
NS – CARTE BLANCHE
NS & JL – STRANGE WORLD
ALIEN VS THE CAT – BACK TO THE FUTURE
NICK SENTIENCE – ALL GET DOWN
UNKNOWN
PERPLEX – SPACE CAT (CITY OF DUST REMIX)

This is a mix of some of the tracks doing it on the dancefloor for me atm. Feel free to post comments in the ITM-FM site Thumbs up Thumbs up

hahahahahahahah

get your self indulgent intros out for the boys !

Top work. Thumbs up

(only just started, will feedback after.)

Good mix! Certainly not your usual track selection.
A good progression through a good range of sounds.

A fair number of interesting mixes in there. Perhaps the only one I didnt like was the one into BK - systematic. I thought the impact of that fantastic track was lost by BBE carrying on too far into it. Far from a major point though to be fair.

Some really interesting psy stuff going on at the end. Whatever "unknown" is - is really nice.

Good to see some upfront stuff from Mr Sentience on there, not many can boast to have those tracks on their mix.
However, I am (and I dont think Ive ever said this before!) really disappointed with Carte Blanche.
Just feel like it loses a lot of good stuff, and doesn't really add much in its place.
Personal taste though, there aint much I can fault Mr S for.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback mate Thumbs up Legend. So its not my usual track selection? Its pretty close to the mark, perhaps just minus a bit of techno.

Carte Blanche will grow on you i think. I thought the same when I first heard it, but having now heard it it countless times, I have to say its really grown on me and the response to it is amazing when played out. Each to their own - and yep, Mr S' production is second to none Not worthy...

Nah, I meant, the usual same tracks you see doing the rounds on everyone elses mixes.

Hmm, will give it a few more plays then.
I dunno, I cant help but feel the world didnt need another hard mix of that tune, seems an odd choice to remix. If he had given it a Psy flavour, I might have understood.
It's far from terrible, it's very well produced, but imo it doesn't work anything like as well as Alf Bamford's version.

Still, will give it another whirl.
