Label: Stealth Industries Format: CD-R Genre: Hard Trance/HardStyle
The original mix starts off with an almost wonky beat, plenty of mischievous percussion with a groove way funkier than your average hard trance track. It builds well into a fantastic short break which includes a short operatic burst which explains the tracks title. The main break follows shortly after without much in the way of riffage or melody every occurring, and despite it’s almost minimalist nature the breakdown is rather good. A main synth that’s almost a throwback to the Hard House days of yesteryear is a strange choice also but it works. Check this out if you want something slightly different.
The Resurrection mix on the other hand is probably a lot more what is expected of Tommy Pulse and certainly a lot easier to comprehend, not to mention dance floor friendly. With a slightly shorter intro and more defined beat it sounds more like a hard trance track, has greater energy in its structure and the elements form more of what I would expect from this producer. The break is better also with a much more contemporary main lead and general breakdown. This is the mix I think you’ll be hearing more of on dance floors.
