Funnily enough I was walking through the main foyer at the recent Hard House Academy on my way to playing first set and I passed the Nukleuz Stall. Figuring there was nothing like a bit of last minute shopping I picked up this little gem which I promptly dropped upstairs during my warm up.
The A side boasts an impressive original trance tune. Not what you’d hear at 3am in the main room at Frantic (more like 3am on the main stage of Creamfields) but an excellent production with a very catchy (still going around in my head!) riff that floats you along nicely. The wonderful lady of the Nukleuz DJ Agency lends her voice to another tune with great results. All in all a great effort at a trance tune from someone who is famous for his hardhouse.
With a little more experience with the trancier side of things, Darren Styles and Mark Breeze have taken a great tune and turned it into a potential club anthem! All the strengths of the original remain with some very good added effects, a wicked counter melody, tougher mix (boarders on the hard trance) and a bigger build up. One for the trance heads like me
