The Gallery goes full throttle to wrap up the month as the most important man in dance music Pete Tong returns to headline his favourite London club. Pete made a number of key appearances at The Gallery in 2003 including his very own ‘Future Heroes’ party in November when he handpicked the main room line-up himself. This week, Pete joins Gallery superstar Tall Paul for his first outing of the year alongside The Gallery’s newest resident John Askew – who’s being hotly tipped for the very top by just about every magazine, DJ, man and his dog!! Fellow resident and up-and-coming Gallery DJ/Producer Gavyn Mytchel plays the last set of the night with Chris Spiking returning to the club to warm things up. One of London’s coolest backroom parties – Soundworx, front the backroom with a stunning selection of underground DJs including Mara and the Inland Knights. Mara are otherwise known as Sheffield’s progressive house/breaks man-and-wife duo Barry and Sara Gilbey. They’ve just produced a storming new album ‘If You Only Knew’ and take time out from a European tour to headline this storming backroom party. The Inland Knights aka Laurence Richie and Andy Riley meanwhile compromise a deep house sound incorporating elements of jazz, funk and dub over a tight house groove – perfect for The Gallery backroom!! Soundworx rezzy Kev ‘KGB’ Bird completes the party alongside backroom fave Chris Surgett.
