More: After almost three years (and still going strong!) of massively successful dance parties in New Zealand, X-plicit, with resident DJ’s Jared P & Mattman now based in London, bring you the launch of X-plicit (UK).

X-plicit (UK) will be a regular feature on your clubbing calendar with parties held on the third Saturday of each month @ the perennial home of Antipodean dance music…Club U4RIA (The Captain Cook).

For the launch of X-plicit (UK), we have assembled a top-class line of DJ’s, headed up by London hard dance legend Phil Reynolds, who will take you on a journey through the genres from funky house all the way through to the most upfront hard dance on offer!

Phil Reynolds: Needs no introduction at all really! Phil is probably the biggest star on London’s huge hard dance scene. Resident at Innovate & HEAT and frequent guest everywhere from Heaven to Brixton Academy, Phil is famous word-wide for his unique style of the harder sound of hard trance.

Phil is hugely popular with the Antipodean crowd and frequently gets booked to play in New Zealand, Australia & South Africa as well as many other destinations across the globe including, Ibiza & Russia.

Expect another storming set from Phil including some new unreleased productions, both his own material and collaborations with other artists such as Tecknikal.

Mattman: Since returning to NZ from London in 2002, Matt became of resident of NZ’s leading dance party Decadance, as well X-plicit upon its launch in Jun-04. He quickly gained a reputation as one of Auckland’s top DJ’s for his style of driving hardtrance through to the harder edge sound. He has also added breaks to his repertoire. Matt has been booked to play for most of the leading promotions in Auckland (NZ) and has supporting touring international acts including Phil Reynolds, James Lawson, K90, Nick Sentience, Ilogik, Ed Real & Scott Project.

Jared P: After returning to NZ from London at the end of 2003 Jared launched X-plicit onto the Wellington clubbing calendar in Jun-04 which rapidly became the preferred regular harddance party in the capital…! As a result Jared quickly cemented himself as one of the capitals premier harddance DJ’s being frequently booked to play for other long-standing parties such as Decadance, Twisted? & Faction. He has supported touring international acts including Phil Reynolds, Ed Real, Nick Sentience, Scott Bond, Uberdruk, K90 & DJ Taka (Japan).

Marty: While in NZ between 2002 & 2005 Marty held residencies at Staircase Club and Thors Hammer and played for most harddance parties in Auckland (NZ) as well as promoting his own successful party, Final Frontier. He has also been producing harddance tunes for approx. two years and has produced tunes with label owner/manager of Fidget Records, Barry Diston. Check out more about Marty on his website below:

Back2Front Brothers:
Nic55 (Club55 / X-plicit (UK)) and Anton (HEAT) have recently joined forces to create the formidable duo that is . . . ‘Back2Front Brothers’, and complete the line-up! These two will be kicking things off by mixing up a storm of funky and progressive house with a bit of electro chucked in there just for good measure…!

So, make sure you get there nice and early to hear the Back2Front Brothers and also to avoid the disappointment of missing out as capacity is limited. You have been warned . . . !

* * * Club10 head honcho, Nic55, is hosting a room at Fire it Up @ Koko on 6May, where Eddie Halliwell heads up a star studded line-up. The Back2Front Brothers will be showcasing there skills there as will Jared P & Mattman who are rounding off the night with some B2B madness! * * *

So, let’s bring back the glory days of years gone by to Club U4RIA and kick start X-plicit (UK) with an almighty bang!

See ya on the dance floor!!
