The Hard House Generation has arrived!
Paul Glazby, Karim & Ian M. These are 3 HardHouse Magicians that have not played together in London since HardHouse Academy over two years ago! When Frantic started we played almost exclusively Hard House and worshipped the sounds of Trade and Record Labels such like Tripoli Trax, Tinrib and Tidy Trax. In fact Frantic was set up to play Hard House as there were every few clubs playing it back in 1997 and those that did rarely played the Harder end of it!
Over the last few years the Hard House scene has developed to include Hard Trance and Techno. Clubs like Frantic, Sundissential and Goodgreef now play all three genres under the term Hard Dance.
You know you love Hard House if you prefer DJs like Glazby, Karim, Ian M and Tara Reynolds!
You know you love Hard Trance of you prefer DJs like Phil Reynolds, Nick Sentience and James Lawson. In fact Hard Trance can be split into those that play UK Hard Trance like Phil and those that play European Hard Trance like Cally & Juice and Ed Real.
DJs like Andy Farley and BK also incorporate Techno into their sets which is what makes our scene so vibrant and so varied,
2003 has been all about the resurgence of the Hard House sound with Glazby’s ‘HOSTILE’ a classic piece of Hard House, being the biggest tune in the whole scene by miles! With Karim rocking Chemistry at Ministry of Sound like no one else and Ian M back where he belongs at the top of the tree this is one Chemistry that promises to be that little bit harder, faster and deeper than your average club!
Think about it…isn’t it about time you went really hard?!
