More: Crasher’s big bank Holiday bonanza present the Rock Stars of Trance.

It’s the biggest event on the biggest weekend in the clubbing calendar, and who’s behind it? The biggest name in UK clubbing, of course.

On Sunday May 1st (May Bank Holiday) Crasher are hosting simultaneous events in Nottingham and Belfast for a combined total of 14,000 clubbers.

Dutch trance masters Tiesto & Ferry Corsten will Headline Crasher’s Event at Belfast’s Kings Hall alongside Agnelli & Nelson, Gleave Dobbin and Crasher’s local boy Stevie G plus 8,000 Clubbers + YOU! It’s the first time Gatecrasher has visited Belfast in four years, and with Crasher on the bill and the biggest Dance line-up Northern Ireland has seen for a long time, this gig is sure to Rock!

Talking of Rock, it doesn’t get much more rock n’ roll than this. After they’ve rocked Belfast, Rock Stars of Trance Tiesto and Ferry Corsten will be ushered into a private jet, complete with swanky leather upholstery and gold fittings, and whisked off to Nottingham. Well, what do you expect? Tiesto has been voted best DJ in the world for the last three years & Ferry Corsten, is the pioneer and a dynamic force in the electronic dance music industry and has made the clubbing scene what it is today with hits like Out of the Blue, Punk and the ever popular, “Rock Your Body Rock” He has also been in the top 10 dj list in the last three years and never ceases to wow the crowds with his productions and musical sets.

The 6,000 people lucky enough to get tickets for the Nottingham show will get to see Headliners Tiesto & Ferry Corsten, plus Crasher favorites, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Matt Hardwick and Riley & Durrant in the palatial surroundings of Nottingham Arena. Last time out clubbers praised the venue for its lack of queues and attitude and its abundance of bars. The much-vaunted VIP suites will be available again for the more discerning clubber.

Holland’s DJ Tiesto, voted best DJ in the world three years running by readers of DJ magazine, will be taking centre stage at the gigs. The relationship between Tiesto and the Crasher crowd is a special one. With Crasher being the first club to bring him to the UK way back when, the club and the crowd feel rightly proud of the success in which they’ve played a part.

Tiesto will be joined by Dutch trance legend, Ferry Corsten (no. 5 in the world). The pair used to work together as fabled production duo Gouryella, before becoming massive stars in their own right. Ferry, who has been part of Crasher line-ups since the start, made his name by seemingly producing everything that moved towards the end of the 90s. His production and DJing remain as fresh and exciting to this day.

Exclusive to the Nottingham gig is Britain’s newest A-list DJ, Eddie Halliwell. From humble beginnings, Eddie’s success has been limitless over the last three years, culminating in a radio one residency to sit alongside his Crasher one. Marvel as he cuts and scratches his way through a hard-edged set taking in trance, techno and hard dance.

Completing the line-up Crasher in Nottingham is stalwart Matt Hardwick and radio stars Riley & Durrant. Matt has been busy DJing all over the world in between honing his production skills alongside Smith & Pledger. And Riley and Durrant ‘s stock continues to rise with impressive production and DJ shows backed up by a regular show on Galaxy radio.

A Crasher gig in Belfast wouldn’t be complete without local lads Agnelli & Nelson. The Belfast boys have become giants of the trance production world with Balearic hits like ‘El Nino; and ‘Everyday,’ as well as remix work with U2. But as Crasher and the clued-up Belfast public will know – these boys know how to rock a club!.

Crasher brings the cream of England’s young talent, Stevie G, to Belfast. Another who is making his name through cutting-edge production, Stevie will leave you in no doubt that he can destroy a dance floor too!
