The team of underground promoters behind last new year’s year’s fantastic Madhatters Ball at The Corporation are back again with ‘N.Y.E’. an even more outrageous party ten hour party in Sheffield’s biggest and most relaxed club venue, Club Shhhh, in The Wicker Arches.
Headcharge, Dubcentral & The Junglist Alliance have really pulled out the stops this time to bring you one huge three room party bringing together techno, acid beats, filthy house, hard nu nrg, jungle, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep, roots,dub and reaggae.
Dubcentral brings to Sheffield for the first time ever the acclaimed WORD SOUND & POWER SOUND SYSTEM with Robert Tribulation at the controls, Jimmy Ranks & the Alpha Crew, supported by Manchester’s reggae superstar Dubdadda now fronting Zion Train and fresh from a 110 gig international tour plus top micmen Bongo Chilli, D. Bo General & Dan Man with Dubcentral’s resident DJs Mr. Meerkat & Fatta Sound.
The Junglist Alliance will be mashing it up on the Function 1 sound system with RAY KEITH, Bongo Chilli, D. Bo General & Dan Man in a jungle, dubstep tip, Alex Deadman (playing a dubstep set, the full Junglist Alliance crew and DJs Autograff & Smiley Maxx (Dark Crystal). More artists to be confirmed.
Finally Headcharge, riding high again and overjoyed to be back in the Wicker Arches is blowing all the fuses with DANGEROUS CANOPY, the doubly dangerous live act featuring Geezer and DDR, with Kam-Pain from Easy Skanking Records, DJ Ixion , Freaktechnique playing a live set, Ann D, John Wainright and Space Sentinelz. The whole show will only set the punters back by £15 for advance tickets, more on the door.
