More: After a great party in July, Chew The Fat continues its journey towards its 10th Birthday Party with a night which demonstrates that far from being your average run of the mill breaks night, it is providing some of the most diverse and exciting lineups to be found anywhere in the capital.

Taking the decks tonight are the much-hyped Streetlife DJs, darlings of Radio 1 and Space in Ibiza, who are best described as Soulwax meets Coldcut meets Sasha & Digweed! Happily proclaiming ‘we ain’t old skool, we ain’t nu skool, we’re all school’, these guys mix funk, disco, techno, house and electro and rock every party they play.

Trevor Loveys is the UK house producer that you’ve definitely shaken your thang to over the past ten years if you’ve been anywhere near a dancefloor. His current smash Organ Grinder is getting rave reactions from Annie Mac and Zane Lowe and is tearing up clubs the world over, but it’s his pedigree recording for labels such as Defstar, Speaker Junk, Front Room and of course Freerange that speaks for itself.

Baobinga & ID are Fat! Records’ prodigies whose Big Monster project has seen them establish themselves as tech-breaks producers par excellence, while 30Hz has become a mainstay of Meat Katie’s Lot49 imprint with his increasingly impressive productions. His collaborations with Baobinga under the Body Snatchers pseudonym are probably the finest (and only) examples of ghetto booty crunk breaks. Together they absolutely tore up Fabric at this year’s Breakspoll, and this is the first time they’ve joined each other on the decks since then.

Paul Arnold and Kid Blue provide the support in the main room, while Chibuku founder Will Jameson’s Lake Of Stars festival host the lounge with Space resident Riton, new kid on the block Mac 3000, Bugged Out’s Brendan Long, My Toys Like Me playing live plus Chibuku residents Leo Belchetz and Emma. Too good to miss.
