The Gallery gets into the spirit of things on Friday 17th March as we host a ‘St Patrick’s Day Special’ featuring a star-studied all Irish line-up. Leading the way will be Radio 1’s goldenboy Fergie. Since he first blew onto the scene as a hard dance sensation, Fergie’s sound has since matured into a pounding mix of electro-tech, which is perfect to do some damage on Turnmills’ phat soundsystem. Fergie will be joined by Col Hamilton, the main man from Lush (Ireland’s leading club) and John O’Callaghan, one of the hottest new trance producers of 2005. The Gallery also welcomes fellow Irish beat-matchers Gleave and Chris Davis (tipped to be the next Eddie Halliwell) to wrap up the night in style with Mixmag Future Hero Gary Collins setting the night on its way early doors. The Irish theme continues in T2, where the Going Places crew present their monthly dose of “Adventures in International House Music”. For this ‘Paddy Power’ special, Going Places look across the Irish Sea for their inspiration, recruiting John Gibbons (resident rocker at Club Educate) and Timmy Stewart to provide the underground bleeps. GP resident Tania von Pear is spinning overseas this month, so in her absence Godskitchen regular Jimmy Hill will be filling her DJ boots with typical filthy house and breaks. Make mine a Guinness…
