One – The Midsummer’s Ball
Summer’s finally here and it’s damn hot outside, so come and cool down in our fully air conditioned bar, with some astounding cocktails, some fantastic people and a night of amazing music.
Opening the main room for us this month will be Steve Soprano, playing a mix of funky house and breaks. This promises to be an exceptional start to the evening so make sure you arrive early so you don’t miss out. Steve is followed by K.A.R.L. who’ll be playing a rare electro trance set, just to keep things interesting. Then comes the second of our special guests, Alix, who’ll be treating us to an hour of quality, uplifting trance. Having played for the likes of Frantic, Fusion and CiL, we’re very pleased to have her on the line-up. Then Conrad, Danni Loraine and DJ Neil R will be taking the night onwards and upwards through trance and hard trance to a spectacular close.
It’s also the official launch of our new second room, the funky bar. Starting at 6pm this promises to be a lot of fun and slightly more chilled than downstairs, for those that want it a little softer. For the next three months we’ve packed it out with rising talent, as part of a competition to play for us on NYE! So come on down and support your favourite DJ on the night. This month we have Murray Scotland, Morphelius, D-Zyn and DJ Fumix battling it out for a coveted place on the NYE line-up.
Following on from the huge success of our Extreme Euphoria warm-up, we’re pleased to announce that our after-party this time will be Innovate at the Fridge, headlined by none other than Nick Sentience! Again, we have concession passes for everyone that will get you into Innovate for £5 instead of the standard door price of £15. That’s only a fiver to see Nick Sentience, Nuw Idol (Live), Phil Reynolds and Superfast Oz!
All this is on top of the usual CD and shot giveaways throughout the night as well as 2 for 1 cocktails before 7pm, and it doesn’t even cost you anything to get in!
Finally, if you’re a budding funky house, breaks or trance DJ and you’re be interested in playing at One, come on down and give us a demo. We have slots available and we’re always looking to help promote those who want to break into the scene.
