After last months pavement-blocking event with the Streetlife DJs, NuSkoolBreaks.co.uk return with a genre-pushing event that can only be described as breaks! This month, album launch party for Rico Tubbs' "Knuckle Sandwich".
Who the hell is Rico Tubbs? A man described by Sinden as "the hottest producer out there"; winner of Finlands "Best Electronic DJ" in 2006 AND 2007; a firm favourite with DJs such as Switch, Tayo, Sinden, Rennie Pilgrem, Twocker, Annie Mac, Stanton Warriors, & Meat Katie; and producer of one of the sure-fire big dance albums of 2008 - "Knuckle Sandwich". This guy makes us want to shout about him!! He IS that good!
Rico has invited down some of his buddies to play at his album launch, so joining him will be the multi-award winning ATOMIC HOOLIGAN, from Russia LADY WAKS, and Lot49 protege / Klaxons Remixer and in-demand wonk-meister BLENDE.
Upstairs, SOUL OF MAN from Finger Lickin' will be playing the funky goodness, alongside West Records' STEELZAWHEELZ, birthday boy CATCH23 and hot new producers 2 BIT THUGS.
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT- Quality music that has no boundaries - with a simply up-for-it crowd. Our parties are fuelled by Breaks, Beats and other stuff... We're all about making Breaks like it was, too much genre defining rubbish, we're mixing it up, playing what we like and taking it back to the essence of what make our parties so bloody good.
