With over 12 years of experience in delivery of quality events ICE Productions have entertained over a hundred thousand people with spectacles that have been noted as being world-class. The ICE legacy began in 1995 with Hypoglysis which drew 2800 happy and enthusiastic revellars/punters. Three more quality warehouse productions followed (The Conscious Tour - JHB & CT, Elemental and Delirium) and then on Human Rights day (1997) the first FREEDOM DANCE FESTIVAL was borne and 18 000 music lovers celebrated together for what was South Africa’s first music festivals that had its own identity - 60 000 people attended the various FUSION and FREEDOM FEST’s over the following years and these productions saw the talents of the worlds best DJ’s and producers gracing their stages to the delight of South Africa’s youth. The likes of Paul van Dyk, Steve Lawler, Nick Warren, Timo Mass, Sander Kleinenberg, Slacker, Lee Burridge, Tall Paul, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Pete Wardman, Blu Peter, DJ Heaven, Angel, Princess Julia, Phil Perry, and John Kelly held audiences in rapturous delight, supported by the best in local talent.
ICE have built their reputation, as being leaders in the event field, on a talented and committed team of specialists who understand the attention to detail and passion required to separate an average event from an outstanding one. ICE enjoy extensive, combined experience in production, bartered media, artist procurement, concept and design, event advertising and marketing and can offer a truly comprehensive BTL service.
The re-birth of ICE in 2009 is generated from the realisation that there is an untapped market of music enthusiasts patiently waiting to be entertained. We are delighted to announce that the wait is now over!!!
NICK WARREN
Nick warren, a music obsessive who grew up on punk, reggae and pop, turned into house music in the late 80s. Catching the attention of Massive Attack, he became their official dj. Joining with Jody Wisternoff in 1994 they formed WAY OUT WEST. Nick Warren has 8 GLOBAL UNDERGROUND albums [the latest being GU35 LIMA]
