This month the Basement welcomes Parisian house maestro’ David Duriez to the decks. Swept along with the new wave of European artists that have emerged over the past 4 years, David is no stranger to the DJ circuit. A DJ since the mid nineties with notable releases on Ovum and Rob Soul David’s different take on jacking house by infuses an electro twist to his bouncing beats with a driving force that has defined him from his peers. David loves versatility and from his music it can be easily seen that he's into a full range of music. 1999 saw the founding of their illustrious Brique Rouge label, whose reputation has steadily increased in the world house music since then. The label has gained international recognition and acclaim. It is frequently featured in magazines, and the records are spun by a whole host of famous djs. David's musical friends and family include such people as Llorca (obviously), Mazi, Jori Hulkkonen, Phil Weeks, Matt "M1" Dimaria, Tuomas Salmela, Dan Ghenacia, Alexkid, Elegia, Murray Richardson, and Ralph Lawson. Support is provided in the form of Danny M and Jay Good.
Moving up from the Basement the Terrace sees Shane Watchas FilthyHouSessions project take control for the evening. Regualrs at Londons top venues, this is FHS’s debut at Pacha and their dirty rocking beats never fail to deliver the whole filth and nothing but the filth while upstairs Plush Da Funk & Thirsty DJs make their debut at The Egg delivering Funky House!
