An amazing party in prospect at Jamm as Craig Charles Funk and Soul Party provides some seriously good music, all delivered by the finest purveyors of the scene there is.
The night will feature Craig Charles of course, who will showcase his incredible knowledge and thirst for funk and soul with a headline DJ set. Plus a complete line up including Smoove and Turrell, that will have the venue shaking and the crowd working the dance floor like never seen before.
Craig Charles is an artist who has been in the public eye since he was 12. First known for his poetry, he has developed a career as an actor, poet, but most importantly for us, within the music industry both as a DJ and band member. He maybe best known for his BBC6 Music show, the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, which he continues to host every Saturday and this Funk and Soul club night is an extension of the show and has covered the length and breadth of the country.
Smoove and Turrell will bring their unique vibe to the club. With their soundsystem set up of DJ and vocalist working the dance floor you will hear the finest beats and incredible vocals and there is no way you will be able to stop the funk flowing for the duration of their set. Expect to hear versions of both brilliant Smoove and Turrell albums as well!
With Movember also upon us, tend to your 'taches, keep the comb in the back pocket and make sure you dig deep in support of the great charity work that they do for, in particular mens cancer. Expect to see some of our special guests sporting some fine creations.
