Wow. What a start to 2007. Despite wind to blow mountains away, we had our own little storm indoors with Technikal blowing off the roof with psy-trance, K8-e celebrating her birthday in style and Shaf, well if you were there you’d know. If you missed it, you missed a real treat, but don’t worry, you don’t have long to endure the taunts of those that had it large or long to wait for the next party. Because we’re back on the 1st of February with another stonking line up.
For this party we’ve put together a special selection of up and coming DJs to provide to you a slightly different progression for your night. We’ll be moving through house to trance to techno in one smooth gliding movement of aural bliss.
Gurning mastermind Benz has travelled the length and breadth of this country as any self respecting weekend tripper might in his converted camper. Tonight he’s parked up round the corner so he can deliver his smooth house beats.
Pandora S-K has a box of tracks we’re definitely sure of opening. Spanning both house and trance, she’s as versatile a DJ as they come and you can ask the patrons of Spangulation if you don’t believe us.
James Rae fills our nursery slot this week. Better known for his sharp photography skills, he’s obviously taken the Knowwhere maxim to heart and got a bit of trance in his life. Get some in yours too!
Sleep is something most people do at night. Not for techno head, Stakker. Maybe he just needs a better alarm clock, who knows. Still we decided he might still be worth a shot so hopefully he won’t be too tired this time to treat you to some Techstyle.
Anita, better known as Neats, impressed many at her stint with us at Xmas. Her funky, tribal, Hub Sound System techno need to be checked out. Watch out for her tonight.
Bringing up the rear will be Marcus Rich making sure you get plenty of Sets In The City, this rising star, quickly making a name for himself (and god knows what else), will have you grooving right through till the end.
We open at 6 for those hungry to get to the bar straight after work. There’s deals on at the bar and your residents Adam Symbiosis and Shaf De Bass will be on hand to make sure the party keeps you up till morning.
Remember you’ll always find only quality music, whatever gets played, selected and mixed to perfection by a heady mix of our two residents, hand picked HF DJs, some of the scenes rising stars and extra special big names you’ll never find anywhere else for free. We’ll be on the 1st and the 3rd Thursday of every month, so stay with us, stay Thirsty.
