UTOPIA proudly presents REVIVAL; a timeless return to the origins of clubbing, a blast from the past, which will take you through the epic record boxes of two of SOUTH AFRICA’S LEGENDARY DANCE DJ’S.
Introducing the man that needs no introduction, MUNRO. The instigator of dance music in this town; digs deep for a night of aural bliss, straight from the pulsating dancefloors of Einsteins, Shine-I & Bumble to name a few. If you were there, you are no doubt smiling!
Also ripping up dancefloors, is DJ SPEEDY, from the unforgettable MOTHER EVENTS; to current day resident of the SA’s leading dance club, TRUTH / JOBURG. Come his set, we’ll look ahead to the bad-ass hoovers, catchy hooks, uplifting vocals & dirty bass-lines… of the ultimate in dance since its heydey in the late 90’s.
As the REVIVAL Time Machine™, leaves port, the UTOPIA crew of RUSSTEC & PSI-PSI, will be in superb support, to navigate the ship and man the battle-stations; from ignition & lift off, to ground breaking landings.
Splendidly hosted by BABYLON, the dancefloor shall display a spectacular array of decor that will truly serve the manic platform, with dazzling visuals & effects; as we time travel.
