The Digital Society 1st Birthday....
The 8th of February 2008 sees Digital Society celebrate its 1st Birthday in stunning fashion. With a line up that would grace any venue in the world, Digital Society is pleased to announce that none other than UK Trance icon Matt Hardwick tops the bill. Matt’s reputation as the most respected Trance DJ in the country is well justified, after being Gatecrasher resident for almost 10 years and playing at every credible event the UK has to offer.
Joining Matt at the top of the roster is fellow Trance legends Solarstone, who are famed for the legendary anthem, the one and only, ‘Seven Cities’, and man of the moment, Dogzilla’s Simon Patterson, whose driving style and consistent production work makes him the next big thing.
Danish Progressive wonderkid Niklas Harding also returns to the DS decks for the second time to complete a guest quartet of the highest order. Digital Society has prided itself on being at the fore front of the re-emerging Trance scene in 2007, showcasing some of the finest talent across the world, including an impressive 9 UK debuts alongside the more established superstars, and with great pleasure, DS brings together a Birthday event of epic proportions to celebrate a truly fantastic first year.
Also featuring in the main room on this special occasion is the full compliment of the Digital Society resident team. Headed by Enhanced Recordings boss Will Holland and Conspiracy Recordings man Activa, and completed by rising stars Kane Nelson, Paul Pearson and Rav Takhar – the DS residents have been the basis of the Digital Society ethos throughout 2007, showcasing the full spectrum of the Trance genre.
Digital Society welcomes back Blank to host room2, headlined by Slave Recordings man Kristoph, and also featuring Zade Cross, Freesoup and Marc Cruickshank, covering a blend of all things House, ranging from Electro-tinged Prog through to tech-induced mayhem.
In room3, Traffic Magazine arrives at DS to host this special 1st Birthday addition, with a growing reputation as the clubbers guide to Leeds, an refreshing alternative offering more deep chilled out House beats from local stars, Jay Kilka, Death on the Balcony, and Mundros.
In the wonderful surroundings of Leeds most intimate venue MyHouse, with the fantastic DS production & decor, the awesome FunktionOne soundsystem, the renowned garden terrace, Blank and Traffic Magazine hosting rooms 2 & 3, the friendliest staff in Leeds, drink promotions galore and with lots of other treats in store, Digital Society’s 1st Birthday promises to be a true statement of intent and is set to be the Birthday party of all Birthday parties!
