After rocking the socks off Saturday mornings in May at Raduno in Clerkenwell, The Kidz are very excited to be setting up camp at The Chapel Bar, Islington. With a pumping sound system, ambient lighting, good location and laid back bar staff, The Chapel Bar is the perfect place to continue this very special knees-up.
Collectively, The Kidz have plenty of afterparty experience at clubs like the legendary Trade and Bleached, the original Sunday morning at Egg, as well as hosting rooms at quality house nights like DTPM and Smartie Partie.
The Kidz realised that London’s Friday night party people (like their friends from Kidology) were wandering the streets in the early hours of Saturday morning with nowhere friendly and attitude-free to go, so decided to throw them a party! It was obvious from the very first ‘Multi-Coloured Saturday’ that there was room in this crazy town for their crazy little party.
Residents (Miss) Strawberry K and (Mr) Tedy Hacket and their rotating guests play house music with life, soul and meaning. The ethos of Saturday mornings with The Kidz is simple: get your dancing shoes on, put a smile on your face, open your musical mind and have some good old-fashioned fun!
The Kidz Kollective’s Multi-Coloured Saturday Morning relaunches at The Chapel, Islington, on June 16th and will be weekly thereafter.
