There’s not long to go now as Junior G gets even closer to the grand old age of one year old! It’s fast become one of the most talked about and respected parties around, injecting fun and a little b it of naughtiness into nocturnal proceedings whilst building upon local talent and name guests. Junior G encapsulates the raw energy and essence of bigger brother Goodgreef yet it holds a raucous, riotous identity of its own, promoted with the same love and attention for detail as its larger sibling.
First up is Simon Patterson, who having build a reputation as a taste make for Radio One DJs including Judge Jules, has since gone on to forge his own career in club land, becoming both a sought after DJ and producer. Playing a tough, intelligent blend of deep tech-trance and tough roof-blowing tunes, Simon is forging a serious career in dance music. He’s is also one half of the top-drawer production outfit Dogzilla whose tunes get huge support from PvD, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and more.
Then there’s a Kuffdam DJ set to savour. He’s one half of the duo who have come to embody the future of trance with a string of hit productions and remixes over the last few years. Favourites with the trance establishment, they have recently been snapped up by Vandit as exclusive artists by none other than the world number one DJ Paul Van Dyk so their pedigree is right up there with the best of them! Kuffdam will be showing why he is part of this most exciting team and is one not to be missed.
Fellow deck-wreckers Gary Proud, Mark Maitland and Chris Metcalfe are also in attendance, both of whom will be getting this Junior G off to a flying start and both are attracting loyal and right-up-for-it crowds of their own!
Over in Room Two, Untamed Society, Blackhall & Bookless, Alex Farrier and Serlait Lota will be in complete control with an all night long relentless session of electro beats and dirty ass shaking house. The guys keep rocking it every time for Junior G and this time will be no different!
Junior: G is an exciting concept helping to bring a community vibe back into clubbing, going out and having fun in general in a great venue with like minded people from all over the north east.
The Cosmic Ballroom is an intimate venue for 400 clubbers to lose it on the floor. As ever the Goodgreef production will be top notch and the club itself it a venue we are very excited about, small and perfect for this launch, with an open door policy for clubbers from every walk of life - straight, gay and mixed, and located right in the heart of the action.
