On Friday 25 October from 6pm to 10pm at the Guildhall Art Gallery, London EC2, there's "Guildhall Gothic". It's a late-night view for "Victoriana - The Art of Revival", the first major exhibition in the UK to offer a retrospective of Victorian revivalism. Set in the renowned (and rarely-open) medieval crypts of Guildhall, the late view includes the opportunity to ask questions of the gallery's Victoriana Art Ambassadors; a bar and lounge from The Anthologist; Art Macabre's unique drawing salon; music from The Singing Victorians; and Victorian Strongman Sir Leopold Aleksander. On Saturday 26 October daytime from 12-6pm at Proud Camden, Stables Market, Camden there's the London Steampunk Market. It's an emporium full of the very finest Neo-Victorian crafted goods and clothing, purveyed by over 20 merchants and craftmongers from London and beyond plus a variety of entertainment. Present at the market will also be the very talented Ms Margot Magpie of Of Corpse Taxidermy, teaching an Anthropomorphic Taxidermy workshop, wherein participants will learn the basic process and techniques behind the art of taxidermy. On Saturday 26 October evening from 9pm-4am at Scala, 275 Pentonville Road, London N1 9NL there's White Mischief's "Births, Marriages and Deaths Ball", a flamboyant multi-room extravaganza featuring live bands, cabaret and circus performances, interactive activities, DJs and dancing.
