Nuclear Free Zone (Liberator Party)
London’s most friendly and longest running night of party techno and Acid Techno is back with special guests and legends of the underground Gizelle, Jeff Amadeus (tbc) alongside Miss Kosmix Acid Steve and DJ Roo with more guests to be announced. This is a 12 hour party for the hardcore
Gizelle: Coming out of South London in the late 80’s she teamed up with Mr C to run a night playing the sounds of Chicago and Detroit Acid House and this led to a residency at the infamous Zero Gravity parties at the Clock Shop in Islington around 1994. It was at these parties Gizelle meet Liberator DJs who had just started the Stay Up Forever record label. Soon she was producing Acid Techno records under the name Rebel Yell with the help of D.A.V.E. The Drummer and Guy McAffer first on the Bag label and then Stay Up Forever (number 14) where she had one of the labels biggest hits at the time the awesome “Purple Heart” (number 24). During the mid Nineties Acid Techno went global which meant the DJs and producers who made the records were suddenly flying around the world. Gizelle was suddenly playing in countries like Japan, Spain. Venezuela, Russia and France.
Gizelle has always rocked the dancefloor with sounds going from acid house influenced beats to hard techno workouts.
Jeff Amadeus: Jeff star is defiantly rising, probably the best known hard techno Dj in London. Hailing from France Jeff has been deep in the UK techno scene for over 10 years. In 2001 Jeff started his Squat record label which has been a massive influence on the hard techno scene then and now and has fans such as DJ Rush and Chris Liberator. Jeff has gone onto being a huge star in across Europe and his tuff techno productions have appeared on Ganz the Terrible’s Teknik label and the mighty Industrial Strength label from Lenny Dee plus the Liberators very own Cluster label.
