We follow up City Loud’s sell-out 3rd Birthday bash with Frankie Knuckles, with a Dex in the City NY Special on Saturday 20th November where we welcome back one of our biggest guests of 2004, Sandy Rivera for his 2nd City Loud outing this year. The Kings of Tomorrow man is set to release his hotly anticipated new album ‘Trouble’ later this month and he still ranks as one of the greatest DJ/Producers of our generation. Famed for classic tracks like Changes, Young Hearts and I Can’t Stop, it was his tune Finally, (again under the KOT moniker) released a couple of years ago which really stamped his mark on the house world.
Sandy Rivera takes his place in the main room alongside fellow New Yorkers Bobby D’Ambrosio & Hector Romero, who’ll be appearing as part of their Def Mix Juniors Special… Def Mix Seniors being David Morales and Frankie Knuckles!! Both Hector & Bobby have been residents for Def Mix’s weekly bash out in Ibiza at Pacha and as you’d expect from the Def Mix camp, these guys are HOT!!
But City Loud wouldn’t be the same place without our masterful resident CJ Mackintosh, and he’ll be lining up in Room 2 for an exclusive backroom set as we play out our final City Loud event of 2004. In fact, we round off the year in style with a big debut from Matt Caseli - the resident DJ at Pacha, Ibiza’s Funky Room (so you know his set is gonna be rammed full of funky house joints!!) and a sexy soulful session from City Loud faves Richard M, Brad 212 Finlay and Levi Love.
