More: Double Trouble Productions in Association with tilllate.com Magazine Presents Rhythmatic

After the superb 2nd birthday party that Rhythmatic celebrated last month the international party fiends rise once again to bring more of what their good at. Renowned for their distinctive production skills and illustrious line ups that always create a tremendous buzz, the Rhythmatic atmosphere never lays to rest for long and is once again ready to be swirled up into a blast of a party back at the Egg, Kings Cross on November 21st

Rhythmatic has played host to all of the London dance houses worth playing in; Turnmills, The White House, Ministry of Sound, Pacha and more, and also left its unmistakable mark on foreign turf in Greece, outside of London and soon Ibiza.

Cavo Paradiso Club Mykonos, Amnesia, People from Ibiza, Renaissance, Be-at.tv, Oxfam & Oxjam, DJ Download, and Corona beer are just a few of the names that have leant on Rhythmatic to create a powerful, intimate and overall memorable night; probably trusted due to the famed Rhythmatic ambience of its followers being treated as friends over punters. Hey Gorgeous! Return once again hosting the Loft and the introduction of the newest collaboration that has been long, long awaited with Tillate.com who partner with the whole night. With all of their philosophies being of a similar stance we can only begin to get excited over the vibe and flare all three will add to the distinctive party atmosphere found only on these nights.

A dynamic, well thought out and truly tailored line up is always presented, complimenting the Rhythmatic party perfectly. You will only ever find a mixture of the finest musical blood the dance world has to offer. Last month saw Kabale und Liebe, Gorge and Lemos throw utterly timbre sounds around the Egg, which gained the party plaudits on the London scene, showing the parties ability to be one to contend with in an ever competitive industry; reviews of the night swiftly covered websites like Pulse Radio, ibeats.co.uk and more. Past Rhythmatic events have been no different with names like Argy, Luca Bacchetti, Italoboyz, Gregor Tresher, Funk d' void, Luke Solomon, Alex Kenji, Luke Dzierzek, Simon Baker (Cocoon), Scarlett Etienne, Spencer Parker, Scott Bradford (Lexicon Avenue), Rebekah (Cocoon), Mar T (Amnesia) and Toni Varga (People from Ibiza) staining the Rhythmatic flyers, not to mention their distinguished residents, one of which brings their Label, OKO recordings to host the basement. Having recently released acclaimed releases it will only logically add to the magic of the music. Furthermore Rhythmatic welcome not three but four more music wonders to the DJ list, Lopazz, Glimpse, Kreon and K.O.T.R.T.

With its ever growing fan base and recognition as a leading London party that takes its followers on an international party experience Rhythmatic are again pulling out all the stops in production, collaborations and artists. If you haven’t been to a Rhythmatic party yet, then it’s about time you did!

Our Guests:
Loppaz (Cocoon, Get Physical Music)
www.myspace.com/lopazz

You probably know German born Stefan Eichinger aka, Lopazz best for the quality, avant-garde club music he’s produced for labels like Get Physical, Cocoon Rec. and London’s legendary Output Recordings, but his career as a multimedia artist is far more colourful and diverse than you might’ve imagined.
Stefan runs the German multimedia label 800achtspur in Heidelberg, which has released records by Mason Mesud Stevensen, Casio Casino and of course Lopazz himself. Stefan is also renowned as a film and television composer, having written and performed more than 45 film and documentary scores over the years

In 2007 he released a new 12” entitled ‘Share My Rhythm’. In the same year Lopazz released his album Kook Kook, a perfect document of his witty and avant-garde electronic funk blueprint – playful, imaginative, intimate and impossible to pigeon-hole, the perfect player for Rhythmatic it’s more than exciting to see what this man will do behind the Egg decks.

Glimpse (Planet E/Kompakt)
www.myspace.com/glimpserecordings

Head Honcho of Glimpse Recordings, Christopher Spero aka, errrm....Glimpse! Is due to take to the Egg stage and no doubt wow the Rhythmatic crowd with his lucid approach to music. Having had an eager interest in jazz, blues and techno from an early age he started young, performing in several bands and releasing electronic music on various U.K. based labels under different aliases (Attic, Olek, and Spero). After studying sculpture he moved back into music and started Glimpse with Kompakt.

Glimpse has made his mark and imprinted his productions on the sets of some of the world’s most notorious DJ’s, being a regular fixture in the boxes of the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Luciano, Loco Dice, Francois K, Ritchie Hawtin, Magda, Jeff Mills, Troy Pierce, Konrad Black, Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Derrick May and Adam Beyer amongst many others. Many of the tracks have been signed to numerous compilations including Richie Hawtin’s Minus imprint.

so far Glimspe has released The 'Drifting E.P. on Carl Craig’s Planet E Label, a new E.P. on Cadenza, on his own Glimpse Recordings and on Get Physical’s sister label Kindisch. More recently he has finished composing his debut studio album on Four Twenty Records entitled 'Runner' which came out in October, making his visit to Egg even more exciting. Whilst also touring with his live show in Japan, Australia, South and North America and Europe, we can only consider ourselves lucky that this music mad man has found the time to come and play for us. Hats will be taken off as he boards the decks and drives us down Glimpses techno lane.

Kreon (Cecille/Robsoul)
myspace.com/kreonmusic

Another overseas talent joins in the party liaisons, Mark Spanoudakis aka Kreon. In 2007, Kreon and Lemos teamed up for the first time, believing that their individual influences would produce a unique style rather different from their own. Resopal was the first label to benefit from this new partnership and the first ep as ‘Kreon & Lemos’ was born - which had an unexpected impact to the whole dance scene. The ‘Roza’ and ‘Lookooshere’ ep’s followed as the boys honed their sound. Lemos graced us last month so it’s only right that we pull in the other half to bring us more of those edgy, jazzy sounds we all concede to so effortlessly.

The Athens born Kreon has had music run thick and fast in his life from an early age, as early as he can remember to be precise. Literally, in Kreon’s case as his father owned a huge collection of vinyl - jazz, classic rock, pop, soul, disco and even country were some of the sounds that the youngster would hear.

These early influences evolved in to a passion for US house in his teenage years as he started putting on his first parties. However, it was at age 18, when he began his studies as an electrical engineer far away from Athens, that his career took a major leap forward when he entered the world of music production.

After many tries and changes of his music character from house to minimal techno and electro he found himself releasing his first ep on an Athenian label called Rhythmetic, ironic isn’t it? We can only imagine that this will bring him back even more and the touch of Nostalgia will bring an epic set from this epic artist.

K.O.T.R.T (Aka Knights of the Round Tables)

Knights of The Round Table aka Ben Webb & Chris Jordan are more known for their productions than anything else, and why wouldn’t they be with the impressive production catalogue that they hols up to their just as impressive joint alias. Their new track 'rumours' has just been signed to 'soda'/strictly rhythm. (soul avengerz). With remixes coming from Soul Avengerz, Deep Velvet & Soul Preachers.
With increasing acclaim for tracks such as "Saxed Up" (remixed by the legendary DJ Spen) "Grooved Me", and ''Good Times', (Soulfunk Digital) featuring Jessie Mathews and one of the original Knights Dan Fifield."Reach High" feat Adeama Cooper, remixed by Brooklyn legend DJ Romain. They are making quite a name for themselves. Gaining heavyweight support from Farley Jackmaster Funk, DJ Spen, Soul Avengerz, Bobby Blanco & miki Motto, DJ Romain, Tedd Patterson to name but a few.
They have lent their remix skills to Soul Avengerz feat Angie Brown 'someday'(Out now on BeatPort,Traxsource and all good online shops), Daddy funk feat Anneta Gordon 'Lets Dance'(available from ministry of sound download store), Torval & Dean feat Tyree Cooper 'Keep it popping'(available from Beatport), Solu music 'it aint love', The Layabouts ' Love is everything'(available at traxsource), Ki 'let me take you' (available from most download sites), Funklife 'over you' (coming soon to most download sites), Daddy Funk 45 feat Lovella 'funky music' (promo available from xpressbeats), Ki 'youre love' (avaliable soon from itunes), Daddy Funk 45 'dancing free' (tasty records), and 'Danger'- Deep Velvet featuring Dionne Mitchal(of X-Factor fame).
