There’s not long to go now as Junior G gets even closer to the grand old age of one year old in May! It’s fast become one of the most talked about and respected parties around, injecting fun and a little bit of naughtiness into nocturnal proceedings whilst building upon local talent and name guests. Junior G encapsulates the raw energy and essence of big brother Goodgreef, yet it holds a raucous, riotous identity of its own, promoted with the same love and attention for detail as its larger sibling. This spooked-out Friday 13th is going to put the shivers right up your spine!
Headlining for another hedonistic instalment of quality tech beats complimented with dirty electro vibes are the daddies of the “Nu-Breed”, Galaxy FM’s very own Riley and Durrant! Long-serving masters of the airwaves and clubs alike, the duo know exactly how to rock it and it’s with great honour we welcome them back to Junior G for the second time! Plus it’s an extra special gig as they launch their Nu Breed Label to the masses!
The guys are followed by rising star Bryan Kearney has established himself firmly on the dance scene in Ireland. His sets contain the very best in upfront trance and techno with the emphasis always on energy and the unexpected. 2007 looks set to be Bryan's biggest year yet with various solo projects in the pipeline and he names grows bigger and bigger. Combined with his three residencies at the Vaults in Dublin and with continued DJ bookings at home and abroad, the future certainly looks bright
Fellow deck-wreckers Mark Maitland and James Alexander are also in attendance, both of whom will be getting this Junior G off to a flying start and both are attracting loyal and right-up-for-it crowds of their own, and it’s Mark’s track which will be the debut release on Nu Breed!
Over in Room Two, Untamed Society, Blackhall & Bookless and Alex Farrier will be in complete control with an all night long relentless session of electro beats and dirty ass shaking house. The guys keep rocking it every time for Junior G and this time will be no different!
Junior: G is an exciting concept helping to bring a community vibe back into clubbing, going out and having fun in general in a great venue with like minded people from all over the north east.
The Cosmic Ballroom is an intimate venue for 400 clubbers to lose it on the floor. As ever the Goodgreef production will be top notch and the club itself it a venue we are very excited about, small and perfect for this launch, with an open door policy for clubbers from every walk of life - straight, gay and mixed, and located right in the heart of the action.
