After the launch party with Jaded’s Raymundo Rodriguez, CTRL SHIFT is relocating to the Horse & Groom in Shoreditch on Friday the 6th July 2012. A very special guest, Joseph Keevil aka SAYTEK (Cubism/Wiggle/Lucidflow), will be performing a full hardware live show alongside CTRL SHIFT residents; Dan Jury & Andrew Sansom + support from House FM’s Pete O’Callaghan. Saytek has performed at some of the best clubs in the UK; Fabric, Sankeys & Mint Club to name a few, as well as appearances in Ibiza for Zoo Project and DJ Mag @ Space. With a new album in the pipeline to add to his already impressive body of work, and more shows across the UK & the rest of Europe, we’re delighted to have him on board, and anticipate BIG things from this guy in the future. His music so far has been supported by some of the biggest DJs in the industry; Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Stacey Pullen, John Digweed, DJ Sneak, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Laurent Garnier, Darren Emerson, M.A.N.D.Y, Dubfire, Slam, Sebo K, Konrad Black, Alan Fitzpatrick, Okain, Claude Von Stroke, Tim Green, Derrick May, Solomun, Nic Fanciulli & Omid 16B.

CTRL SHIFT is a new monthly house & techno promotion based on quality & integrity, with the aim of bringing international DJs & Live Acts to the capital, whilst also pushing fresh UK based talent. The night is lead by co-founders and resident DJs; Dan Jury & Andrew Sansom, who are dedicated to providing the very best in underground electronic music.
Somewhat disappointed by recent attitudes encountered in clubland, Andrew & Dan have set out on a mission to not only showcase their own musical talents, but to offer clubbers a safe, friendly & welcoming environment, a place where they can let off steam & just enjoy the MUSIC. The atmosphere & vibe of CTRL SHIFT is imperative, and the guys will ensure a certain benchmark of quality is adhered to, with a keen eye on programming & production.Musically, you can expect to hear a diverse range of sounds from deep house & dub techno, to broken beats & UK bass, along with the tougher sounds of Berlin & Detroit towards the business end of the night.
Jamie Paton- Introducing Jamie Paton, one half of electronic duo Cage & Aviary alongside Nigel of Bermondsey. This February saw the release of their debut album Migration on Prins Thomas's Internasjonal Imprint and features vocals from former Primal Scream vocalist Denise Johnson. Migration offers a decent snapshot of Cage & Aviary’s broad-minded musical vision, touching upon deep, languid disco, live percussive burnouts, feverish synth-funk and low-slung house.
Their Album follows previous releases on labels such as Dissident, DFA and Astrolab to name but a few. These have all been met with great critical acclaim with the likes of Andy Blake, Prins Thomas, Horse Meat Disco, Mock N Toof, Tim Sweeney, James Murphy, Tiga, Erol Alkan and other such luminaries.
